Excessive things in DUBAI:

In this country you find a luxury excess; when you go there you obtain a big list about hotels like Burj Al Arab: It is the first hotel known that has 7 stars, which was achieved by the top service and never seen luxury. Burj Al Arab offers Helicopter flights to the city. At nights it is being lighted with different colours to make the design more interesting. This hotel is probably the most spectacular place where you can stay; Royal Mirage Hotel, is one of the most impressive developments of Dubai, beginning with the entrance of the hotel full of oil lamps and luxury decoration that makes a glamorous place, count with huge palms, landscapes, therapy rooms, and three special food restaurants: Mediterranean, Moroccan and Arabian; Al Qasr Madinat Jumeirah a grand hotel that includes 40 hectares of landscaping and gardens. The palace forms a virtual island which is surrounded by ancient windtowers, pools, and the sea. Six Senses Spa is providing the ultimate in Asian and European relaxation therapies.
All of these special places cause that Dubai is a capital of luxury and perfection of the world, each thing there, each taste and each action, have an expensive cost, the quality of life is one of the best around the world, is high and expensive and obviously perfect and glamorous. There each family has an helicopter, many cars, houses, apartments and excessive luxuries like islands, buildings, and others, the education and health have an special and singular care, orientated always to be better and mantein the reputation which have obtain, continue with all the petroleum companies and invent most exciting and unreal projects.
Look this:

  • We've turned relaxing and unwinding into an art at the exclusive Member's Club. The Member's Club is an exclusive and private club facility for Dubai Lifestyle City residents.
  • If you are a shopoholic, this will be paradise! The retail complex we've lined up for you at Dubai Lifestyle City is extravagant by any measure.
  • As you enter the portals of our serene spa, you'll find the world slowing down visibly. As the calming vapours of aroma embrace you and the tinkling of water from the fountains fill your senses like celestial music, you'll understand what it really means to escape.
  • If you have an appetite for the delectable things in life, our choice of restaurants will give you a gourmet experience you've never had before!
  • The villettes are mini replicas of a villa and will remind you of the beautiful homes that you find in history books and postcards of Tuscany.

Compare Dubai with Colombia is easy because here you never will find extravagant luxury and glamour like in Dubai, the Colombian situation is different, here the 70% of population have difficulties to find a job, to study, to be somebody in the life, the government doesn’t think in one country, in one community with problems, only in a personal benefit and how their can get easy money for they and for their family. The culture is different the aid towards the others is better there.
We have the resources to be great, but we need an honest and hard administration, someone who regulate everything and in this form the Colombian economic grow and the poor decrease. The education and lifestyle in Colombia is bad, the statistics show a decrease of buy comforts, travels and aids. The infrastructure is good but we don’t have all this exotic buildings may be because the violence can destroy it, the security and the culture of take care doesn’t exist.

DUBAI (descriptive essay)

The first time that I hear about Dubai was in discovery channel, they were doing a travel for all the United Arab Emirates, and in Dubai the travel was most exciting. Dubai is the second largest of the seven United Arab Emirates is located in the middle east-south of Iran Persian Gulf, their economy is based on Petroleum, natural gas, oil and tourism basically. It’s a magical and exotic country because there you can find the amazing desert dune dinner, the innovator projects in the city like Burj Al Arab, the world's tallest freestanding hotel and in the Persian Gulf you practice water sports, their ocean is clean and counts with a precious biodiversity. For that reasons I choose it, an amazing place.
The first place: Arabian Desert; is a vast desert occupying most of the Arabian Peninsula with an area of 2,330,000 square kilometers. Their biodiversity is very little for two principal reasons: first because the temperature is very high and in the earth are few species that resists this; and the second is the hunting and habitat destruction, in the desert the principal animals are the striped hyena, jackal and honey badger that have become extinct. The resources that become from the desert are: oil and natural gas; but their production are the other reasons to extinct the biodiversity. The desert has a rich natural environment, is beautiful and very interesting because has an unique things and a memorable situations which you can explore there.
The other place was Dubai city, an interesting place because it has been a fast economic, technological and industrial increase, their constructions are the principal fact of why the people go to Dubai, to know what are all this intimidating, exotic and unique islands and buildings which can’t be found in other place in the world, only in UAE. Since 2002 with The Palm Islands and Burj Dubai have attracted people from different parts of the world and this are doing that new impressive projects become real. The last project was the construction of lot of island that have the form of the world, and each one is different to the others, have a high price and who buy it, will have an enormous privacy and exclusive part of this representative world. The inversion and the tourism are doing that the lifestyle beginning to be better and the culture to be known around the world; the culture is other thing very interesting to explore by youself.
The other particular thing in Dubai is the summer festival, when people around the world that practice many sports like golf and water sports are exciting for all the surprises that all years it has. The GOLF, is recognize for Golf courses and is a golfer's paradise, the Emirates Club that is one of the most important and big on the world and the Dubai climate give a golf fans a particular opportunity to practice there. In the Persian Gulf the water sports dominate the region: jet skiing, waterskiing, and others have a date there because is an ideal place to do that. The astonishing Dubai environment give a motivation to do the big summer festival where people from many parts of the world come there and have a nice summer vacations.
My interest for this place is basically because is a great and fantastic country, one of the few earth places where you find a particular desert, a cosmopolitan city and a magical ocean all in one. The idea for this essay is to show how we destruction all this fabulous environments for money and luxury and think what is the better way to stop this without affect commerce, the tourism, the economy and all this inevitable things in our lives. I hope go soon there and know all completely place, the culture and the special infrastructure.

WhAt aBoUt dUbAi?

Welcome to Dubai
Dubai is one of the UAE (United Arab Emirates) state out of seven (Abu Dhabi, Al-Ain, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, Ajman, Shrjah). Dubai is fast growing city with plenty of opportunities. The total population of UAE is around 4.4 million out of that only 1.4 million are UAE national and the rest are expatriates. The Indian community is biggest around 1.4-1.5 million the second largest community are Pakistanian around half million. While going through the markets/bazaars you’ll find the people from different places/countries (almost around the world). The most congested places are Deira(Gold Souk, Nasir Square, Naif) and Bur Dubai where in weekends hard to walk through. Currently we can say that Dubai is “Under Construction” many mega projects are going to be completed soon around 2014. Some mega projects are Metro(train), Palm Deira(Man made Islan), Palm Jebel Ali(Man made island), Palm Jumeirah (Man made island), Burj Dubai(Dubai Tower currently world’s largest), Jebel Ali Airport and many others.
Activities/Climate:
The climate is very hot during summer the temperature reach up to 45c according to weather forecast but it seems 55c. Dubai is famous for its shopping malls “world under roofs” if you want to enjoy Ski in the hot summer go to Emirates mall, the other major malls are Ibn-e-Batuta Mall, Deira City center, Burjman, Lamcy Plaza, Reef Mall and many others.
The best event is Dubai Shopping Festival specially “Global Village” cool weather cool event. So if you are planning to visit, prefer to come in December. The famous places for outing are Jumeirah Beach, Beach Park, Safa Park, Dubai Zoo, Mamzar Park, Zabeel, Mashrif park, Heritage village, museum and many other places.
The best thing i saw is to cross the Abra(Deira-Bur Dubai by sea) by boat currently the fare is 1 dirham “All desi guys don’t multiply with local currency“.Cool things, Desert Safari (specially schedule on the 14th night of moon and see the magic of desert), Dine in Cruise, Dubai Water bus……
Life in Dubai
Like other growing cities life is getting harder day by day, traffic congestion, instability in prices, house rents, school fees every thing is going up sharply. It is getting difficult to keep family in Dubai. Many low income people have sent their families back to their native countries. The biggest problem is to locate suitable accommodation. About 60-70% people are not satisfied with their income and expenditure (but they don’t want to leave Dubai) 20-30% slightly satisfied and remaining may be satisfied/happy.
Working in Dubai:
In the tax free fast growing economy bundle of opportunities is there where skilled/technical person are always appreciated specially in the field of Construction (Civil Engineering),Sales, Business management & IT. The candidates who are on visit visa or on temporary working visa can get response soon.
